How do you pronounce hardly

I find myself not fluent pronouncing hardly

I sound like " hard ly"
But the native speakers sound like " "har dly" with the sound of d which is hard for me to pronounce

Top answer

"hardly" is just "hard" plus "ly". The more logical division seems "hard ly", not "har dly". However, there seems little practical difference between the pronunciations that these two representations suggest.
