What does" how do you like it" mean in the followingsentence?
A: Thanks a gazillion times. just dropped by to say hi and congratulate you on your new crib.
B: So sweet of you! How do you like it!?
A: super cool. How much did you fork over it???
What do you think of it? What is your opinion of it? " doesn't sound right to me.

"How much did you fork over it?" doesn't sound right to me. I imagine it should be "How much did you fork over for it?" (In the UK we say "fork out" rather than "fork over", and it would have to be "... fork out for it". I'm assuming that the AmE expression "fork over" must work in
