how do you express "not to clean perfectly" in English ?

My friend was cleaning up the kitchen , he took so much time in cleaning and tried to clean

perfectly , So I wanted to tell him to take it easy.

You could say:

"There's no need to be so fussy/particular."

"There's no need for you to take so much trouble." (more polite)
