how do you do?!
Hey, I'm a newbie on this website!
I need some help about a formal presentation. If it's the first time you're being introduced and it's a formal circumstance, we say:
how do you do?
but how does the reply go!? if you reply how do you do, with another how do you do? would it be wrong?! I've read in an old textbook it's correct, but I've heard it would sound impolite since you're actually answering with another question...
I'm freaking out.
