Composition writing is basically story telling. We all tell stories. We talk with friends, family, neighbors, etc.

Sometimes it helps to talk into a recorder. Tell your favorite story, memory, or just make one up. Teach yourself to be observant. Sit in a shopping mall or a coffee bistro and 'people watch'. Then, attempt to put what you learned on paper (or in the pc).
