I don't understand why you have added to your own post. If it's to bring it to the top, that isn't really necessary, as someone will get to it and help you out.

There is no substantial difference in meaning between the two sentences, and both are correct.

Thanks Phillip, it was not to bring it to the top, I missed the spelling of giraffe in the first and could not figure out how to correct it. That was the resason I did that

Hi both the sentences are correct. no need to correct.

!. How do giraffes walk? - This is in plural number

2. How does a giraffe walk? - this is in singular form

"Do" is the helping verb. It changes like this:

First person: I do, We do

Second Person: you do, you do

Third person: he does, she does, it does, They do
