How do u ask?

If you are drinking and someone is looking at you how do u ask them if they want to try like.. "U wanna try?" or ?
or if u wanna try someones drink how do you ask ? as far as i know u can say : "Can i have a sip " but it sounds too formal to me ..?
or if u have a gum how do u ask - "Do u want a gum" or "Do u want one" or "Do u want a piece of gum?
or if u want to try someones chips how do u say "Can i have one " ? but it sounds formal to me again ? is there any other more informal form i can use?

OR if u decide to drink something how do u say "Im going home to get a drink " or "Im goin home to get drinks"

In my opinion: When you ask someone for sth : Hey, What about trying (----------------)? OR When you want to try sth. Do you mind if I try (-----------------)?

When you ask someone for sth :

Hey, What about trying (----------------)?

OR

When you want to try sth.

Do you mind if I try (-----------------)?
