How do I write the sentence?

The project manager asked me to cerate a weekly status report. The report included information  about what I had achieved in the prior week and my plan for the current week. The creation of the status report helped me develop my planning skills. Also, I became more accountable and committed to delivering my written plan.

1.  When I read the above passage, it sounds as though the weekly status report was for only one week.  However, in the real word. I created report every week. Will you please help me revise the passage to reflect this?

2. Actually I became more accountable and committed to delivering what was in my written plan.  However, the above sentences reflect as though I was committed to delivering a written plan.  Once again, will you please review and revise the paragraph?

Thank you.'
