How do I teach the uses of the verb "to wonder"

0Hello everyone, I am new to this website. I have recently started teaching English as a Foreign Language. I am a native speaker, so I know how to use the verb to wonder, but I am having difficulty explaining the uses to my students. How can I explain the difference between "I wonder what we will do tomorrow", or "I was wondering if you could tell me where the bathroom is". My students are native spanish speakers, and this is not an idea that translates very well.02br

0Hi,02br 02br 00I would begin by explaining 'wonder' as 'desire or be curious to know'. 02font 02br 02br 00I'd then go on to explain that it is used in the second way, to express a polite question or request. eg 01font 00I wonder if you could close the door.
