How do i say something that i like afterwards something

I dont know whether the question is grammatically correct. But here is what i want to say

1. At school i liked physics very much. The next subject that i liked was mathematics.
Is it correct to say the same thing in two ways like this ?

2. At school i liked physics very much. After that i liked mathematics.

3. At school I liked physics very much. Next that i liked was mathematics.

This is correct if i changed my mind.

Actually this is the order of liking that i had while i was at school

1. Physics
2. Mathematics
3. Chemistry

How can i explain this order in english ?
