How do I request to meet face-to-face with my supervisor?

Hello all,

I am planning to meet face-to-face with my Ph.D. supervisor to formally introduce myself.

I have contacted him via emails but never meet him before.

This is my idea.

Dear Prof. (Surname), I would like to request an appointment to formally introduce myself.I would be grateful to have a short meeting with you in this regard. Please let me know when it is convenient for you, I appreciate any time you can give me. Thank you for your time. I look forward to meeting with you. Yours sincerely,My name

Thank you very much for your help,

Joy

I'd merge the first two sentences into one: I would like to request a short meeting with you to formally introduce myself. I'd delete the last two sentences as they're redundant and he's a busy man. Leave a space after every full stop/period.
