How do i pronouce ioerger

Just curious it is one of my friends last name. He always says i dont say it right and its kind of embrassing in front of his parents

The word again i need to pronouce is ioerger if you could i would like a pronucation key

I, too, am a Ioerger, and we pronounce it "Yeager." Like Chuck.

It is a German name, and it means hunter.

I am too a ioerger from illinois and i heard that it's a scandinavian name, in fact a person educated with the swedish language would no the exact pronounciation in a heartbeat.
