How do I join these...

I have to do something new so we (are not/not to be/...) enemies anymore.

What should I put between the braces to make the sentence correct?

1. I have to do something new so we are not enemies anymore.
2. I have to do something new so we not to be enemies anymore.

I suppose neither is correct. I wonder how to say this kind of construction properly (context is meaningless).

This one is OK:

1. I have to do something new so we are not enemies anymore.

But it's better this way:

1. I have to do something new so we won't be enemies anymore.

#2 is totally wrong.
