How do I connect these two phrases?

Hi there.
''Do you remember that document which you made for John, promising not to tell anyone about ours secret?''

Is there any error in this sentence?

How do I connect promising not to tell anyone about ours secret with Do you remember that document which you made for john without using a comma?

I don't think it should have a comma to begin with. As I read it, it's a document promising not to tell anyone your secret.
