How did you spend time during Nowruz?

Nowruz is the spring celebration of New Year in some countries, especially in Iran. It's important to begin the year clean everywhere, so my husband and I prepared our home for Nowruz by cleaning the whole house. It is the first Nowruz since we got married.
The Last year was a leap year and the new year started on the 30th of Esfand at 1:07 pm. My husband and I decided to start New Year in Kerman - the capital city of Kerman Province, Iran-beside his family. I met some of his relatives such as his great-aunt, uncles, their children, and so on. Something was new for me like 'Kolouche sehen' which they used to serve their guests. It was delicious and sweaty; I love it. During the holidays, I understood that the atmosphere in Kerman was different from that in my hometown- Shiraz, the capital of Iran's Fars Province- because we rarely stayed home on holidays. I had been bored for one week. Sometimes my husband and I went out of town and tried to enjoy the countryside without any disturbances.
After one week, we went to Shiraz, and I saw my nephew and niece after three months. I enjoyed meeting my cousins, uncles, aunts, and others. We met each other in my uncle's garden. However, we could not meet each other for about two years due to the covid-19 virus. Then, we tried to have a great time and do something together such as watching movies, cooking cake, having small trips around the town. I have also studied some papers related to my job and done some English lessons.
We came back home yesterday and did not have any 'sizdeh be dar' - also known as Nature's Day, an Iranian festival on 13th Farvardin, the first month of the Iranian calendar, during which people spend time outdoors. Bandar Abbas- a port city and capital of Hormozgan Province- is warm and humid and has a totally different kind of weather than Shiraz and Kerman.
