How did you like it?

Hi

Is the sentence OK in everyday conversation?

So, you read the whole story overnight? How did you like it?

I read it in a story written by an Indian; I feel that it is a direct translation from Hindi.

Thanks,

Tom

Thanks, Clive.

So, in a way, the sentence "How did you like it?" has the same meaning as "Did you like it?" -- because the normal replies would be:

Oh, I loved it.
No, I didn't like it at all, etc.

PS: What about: So you read the whole story overnight? How did you

Yes.

'How did you find it' is a more formal way of speaking.
