By learning from the past, we Filipinos can be successful and thus take further steps leading to a better future. Through reading, we can learn how to lead the country and run the government properly, assuring that the pain of the past will not be felt again. According to Dr. Jose Rizal, our national hero, the key to success is education, and the youth is the way for a successful future. As young people, may we exhibit the attributes that we have inherited from our ancestors. May education be our guns and God be our guide toward being good future leaders. Let us learn from history through reading and exploring. History is not what happened in the past but the story behind what happened.
