How can say it?

Hi,
I converted from Catholicism to Evangelism in March 2012, so in March this year will be my first year of being Evangelical. How can I express that being idiomatic? Or let's say that today is the first of March, so what do I say?

Thanks a lot

Thanks a lot, Clive! But I've got a question; in your first sentence, can I replace "this month" with "the coming March" or "next March"? Can I do the same to the second sentence replacing "this month" with of those two options?

Thanks again

Of course! Thanks! In a related topic, does "anniversary" sound a little cheerful"or what's the word" to your ear? I mean it's connotations Can I use it to mark someone's death? Like, "next month will be the first anniversary of his death"? if so, what would you say instead.
And, more thing please. can I say; "I converted to Evangelism a year ago in five days from now" ?
