How can i use this sentence correctly?

"i dont give a damn if you are looking at me" or "i dont give a damn you are looking at me"? i mean what should i use after "damn"?i know i can say i dont care instead of i dont give a damn but i wanna know how can i use this sentence with damn correctly?ive heard in movies american people say i dont give a damn about for example what you do" but also ive heard they dont use about sometimes.why?which one is correct?
