How can I use the word "respecter" ?

I've been wondering how I can use the word "respecter"

My English-Japanese dictionary says "respecter" means "someone you respect".

Can I say "My respecter is my father"? Or does "respecter" have a different meaning or any connotation?

I've never come across any occasion where the word is being used, so I am confused how to use the word.

I will appreciate any help. Thank you very much in advance!
