listen to the title of the news ,get the main idea of the news, and if you can't understand the news you can just listen the words you can recognize. there are a lot of news in the internet, find some and recite them , it will helps you a lot!will you success

I think it would be a good idea to record, say, 15 minutes of the news. Play it back and stop whenever there is something you do not understand and play it again. Do this two or three more times if you need to, but not more. If you find that this not help you should go through the recording with a friend who does understand and ask him/her to repeat the words you cannot catch or explain any words that are new. When you have done this a few times with different recordings you should find your understanding increasing. You may still find there are some speakers you do not understand, but do not worry. It is a good idea, if you can, to try and catch politicians and others as they address public meetings as they tend to speak a little slower and more clearly.
