How can I make this clearer

Could someone attempt to clearer this up or is it clear?
I made up the stops but I just would like to be able to get my point across had I said it about the metro and streets in Paris.

5th avenue starts at this metro stop. (If you get off the metro here, thats where 5th avenue begins) The beginning of 5th avenue is metro stop “X”. Although the metro stop before the one in question is called 5th and X, the one you should get off at is X. If you get off at 5th and X you'll have to walk a little to get to the beginning of the street.

Thank you
