How can i introduce this quote and do i have a good analysis?
“I keep picturing these little kids playing some games in this big field of rye...and nobody’s around-nobody big, I mean-except me. And I’m standing on the edge of some crazy cliff. What I have to do, I have to catch everybody if they start to go over the cliff”... Holden basically wants to stop children from falling into losing their innocence and becoming an adult. He wants to be the one to prevent them from growing up into the adult world, but he realizes that he can’t prevent that

That looks like a very good analysis to me. I assume this is from Catcher In The Rye ? I haven't read it yet, but it sounds like a good story.

Some small suggestions: "Holden basically wants to stop children from falling into losing their innocence and becoming an adult adults .
" BASICALLY is a filler word, a bit like LIKE, that adds no information and only conveys non-specificity (vagueness).
