How can I describe the step ?

Hi,

Background:
When we do a research project, we would write down the result on, says, 20 papers for the project. Then we hand those 20 papers to our teacher.

Question:
How can I describe the step 2 below?

Step1: collect information

Step2: How can I describe this step?
Possible description:
Writing the project
Writing for the project

Step3: present our project to teacher.

Thanks

2) I write a review of my project....no
