How can i correctly word this sentence?

Likewise, every moment I’ve experienced has been unique, since time has hogged the pieces of a particular moment to be identical to another.

Please help me make it less awkward.

Hey Clive,

Well, i guess that would not be the right word to use there. But what i essentially mean is that time has taken away parts of "enjoyable" moments. Therefore, it is not possible to recreate an exact moment from the past.

Hi,

eg In the same way, every moment I've experienced has been unique. However, time has stolen parts of my enjoyable moments, so I can't exctly re-create any of them in my mind.
