(version2) Two different enzymes have been reported. The first is A, the second B, both of which belong to the protein family X, together with C, D and E, forming the complex called "super".

Neither of your versions is quite right. I think I'd write it like this: Two different enzymes have been reported: A and B. Both belong to the protein family X, and, in conjunction with C, D and E, they form the complex called "super".

Thanks, Mr. Wordy.
Can you please clarify the differences of the two expressions you wrote? I thought they were the same??

What are the relationships between A,B,C,D and E in your first and second expression?

And what are their relationships to the complex called "super"?

The first means that A and B form "super" in conjunction with C, D and E.

The second means that protein family X forms "super" in conjunction with C, D and E.
