This is kind of subjective, but here's what I think 1) If something is in your mind that means that you have an idea or thought and you can visualize that idea/thought with your mind 2) If something is on your mind that means that you're thinking about it all the time. 3) If something is at the back of your mind, then you know that it's true without even thinking about it.

TanitA good dictionary is always helpful, Lato!I agree. But I was just wondering if there was some connotations that are often absent in dictionaries. In addition to this, a Westerner has explained to me the difference between those three. In other words , just wanting to confirm or get a second (or third) opinion so to speak.
