How Americans pronounce the word "NEW"

Hi friends
I have doubt about pronouncing the word "NEW",like Americans.
Is it like this:
NUptial pad OR veNUE.

Most of us pronounce it NOO (as in the word 'noon'). But a few pronounce it NYOO (or NUE as in 'venue') CJ

No, David, we don’t pronounce the <ew> as the <u > in the word ‘Nuptial’. It’s as CalifJim indicated, either /nju:/ or /nu:/.

No, David, we don’t pronounce the <ew> as the <u > in the word ‘Nuptial’. It’s as CalifJim indicated, either /nju:/ or /nu:/.

actually only people from the north pronounce it "NOO" because of their accent. Most people with a general american accent pronounce it like "Niw". the "I" sound as in "inside"
