How about you / what about you

Hello,

What is the difference in meaning between "How about you" and "what about you"? Can we use them interchangeably? For example, is it wrong if we use them interchangeably in the sentences below?

I'm good thanks. How about you?
I'm a morning person. What about you?

Thanks.
