How About + Finite Clause

"How about the two of us go somewhere this coming Sunday?"


I'm not sure of whether the sentence is correct.

I'd bet the following would seem to be right

"How about the two of us going somewhere this coming Sunday?"

Please correct me If I'm wrong.
