housework vs daily chores vs household chores vs domestic chores

Hi,

(1) Are there any "noticeable" differences among the listed terms?
(2) I guess "housework" is most formal as compared to "daily chores", etc.? Also, is "housework" equally applicable to kids and adults? i.e. would it be ok to use "housework when talking about a kid's responsibilities?
