Housework

Is it ok to say 'I'm making a list of housework.' or 'I'm making a housework list.'?

I want to make the sentence simple and easy to read for beginner learners, so I didn't put the work chores after 'housework'.

Thanks.

It is just as easy, or easier, for beginners to learn the natural utterance first; then they don't have to learn 2 things (beginner English and then real English). 'Housework' is an uncountable noun. I'm making a list of household chores.
