We all want to be writers. Specifically, screenwriters. For those of us who are not being paid to write screenplays, how many hours a day do you spend working on your craft? How many hours a day do you spend writing screenplays? (Not reading screenplays or talking about screenplays, but writing screenplays?)

Actually, I should begin by stating I write about two hours every day. I work with a partner. He sends me ideas. I write them. He accepts or rejects (and says why). I say why he's wrong or right. We continue. Everyday. Lots and lots of writing. All ****, I suppose, but we're working on it.

Hours working? I'm ashamed to admit it three to four hours Mondays through Fridays, and five hours Saturdays and Sundays. This definitely does not include reading screenplays, talking about screenplays, or sucking up McKee/Fields/Martell words of inspiration.
