hotel name change

Could please check if the below sentences sound natural for an official announcement for a change of hotel names.

We are delighted to announce that we will change the names of the following two hotels effective April 1, 2014.
1) Hotel Lake View will be renamed to Hotel Lakeside.
2) Hotel Riverside will be renamed to Hotel River View.
We are committed to providing a more comfortable environment to ensure you enjoy your stay.

Sorry, but I see nothing 'delightful' about two very mundane name changes; I would omit the remark. As a public announcement, you needn't use the legalistic 'effective'. The final remark seems rather purposeless here, too.
