If I wanted to say that my friends and I spent a lot of time in a hot pond and that we enjoyed it, could I use the verb ‘wallow’?
“We just wallowed in the hot pond for hours.”

Are you talking about the hot ponds in Hawaii? That's the only association I have with the expression 'hot pond'. 'hot spring' seems the more general word for what I think you're referring to.

Anyway, I wouldn't use 'wallow'. It brings to mind the unpleasant image of pigs in mud.
