Hot plate

''Turn the hot plate on high heat to heat the pan.''

Is 'turn the hot plate on high heat' grammatical or is there a better way to say it?

Thank you.

I would say 'to' instead of 'on'. I'd also usually avoid repeating the word 'heat'. '' We also often say 'set' instead of 'turn'.
