hot-air balloon (which verb to use)

Hello, everyone,

Which are correct? And do these mean the same thing?:

Fly in a hot-air balloon

Ride a hot-air balloon

Go in a hot-air balloon

Is there another way to say it?

Thanks in advance. Take care Emotion: smile

Fly and ride are the most common verbs. Go would not be commonly used, unless there was a particular destination. Phileas Fogg allegedly went around the world in a hot air balloon.

I did that once, and I tell people that I have gone up in a hot-air balloon.

fly in and ride in are also possible, I'd say.
