Can I use the word hostageness (the experience of being held captive against your will)? Or is this a Dutch fabrication?

In English, I think the word is "hostageship". My paper dictionary doesn't have it but, if you google it, there are one or two usages that look reputable

I took just a quick look for 'hostageship' and coudn't find anything reasonable. Can you?

What search engine are you using?

I find a paper from Cornell (2009) about women who were taken hostage in medieval times. Part of the subititle is "Women, Hostageship, Captivity"

And then there is a paper from Brandeis (2005) where chapter 1 is entitled "Meaning and Purpose of Hostageship in the Greco-Roman World"
