Host

situation:

One day I see a famous news reporter in the street, and I am a big fan of that programme. Can I say this?:

-I watch the news programme you host every day.

HOST doesn't sound right.

I don't think I would use "host" for a standard-format TV news show. If it's more of a magazine-style show then it may be OK. There is an ambiguity in your sentence about whether "every day" modifies "watch" or "host".
