Hope you didn't or haven't lost your appetite?

Hi. Please tell me if either of the two underlined tenses is correct or not. Thank you in advance.

(fictitious scenario)
A is talking to B about a rough night he had last night taking online tests and staying up late until one o'clock in the morning studying. After finishing studying he ate a lot of food. They are about to go eat lunch.

A: I'm not sure I can eat lunch today. I ate a lot this morning and got almost no sleep.
B: I hope you didn't lose / haven't lost your appetite.

Both are fine. Present perfect is probably the better choice, since they are en route to lunch.
