Hope is the thing with feathers

Paraphrase of stanza 2.
"The bird of hope sings the sweetest when the circumstances are the hardest. Only the hardest conditions can embarrass this bird. Though the bird of hope has kept so many people worm to withstand their hardships so far." I myself wrote this paraphrase. I know it will be full of mistakes. See how many can you correct.

If you are offering a paraphrase of poetry, it would be appropriate as a courtesy to us to quote the poem or to give us a link. Not everyone has memorized every poem in the world, you know.

I used "though" because of the previous sentence "Only the hardest conditions can discomfort this bird, though the hardest conditions never succeeded in discomfoting this bird so for." Is using though correct?

Clive"to withstand their hardships so far." <<< this needs a bit of work
Give me a hint I will try it again.

In your original post you had a period before 'though'. Now I see it's a comma. That's OK.

Do you think you need to add 'so far'?

Mr. Clive, I have rewrited the paraphrase of the stanza. Should I post it in the same thread or start a new one? Thanks.
