I know it is correct to say Michael Jackson is regarded/considered as the King of Pop...but is it ever possible to say Michael Jackson is the King of Pop? or should it be was the King of Pop?

  • " -"Michael Jackson had a huge part in the history of pop" He will always be the king, no matter whether he's dead or not" Both answers are possible.
