Dear

Would you please correct my English written below?

I have learnt many things in my life. But mostly important attitude learnt from my life is honest to myself and others.
When I sometimes wanted to avoid what were/was ahead on my life, I used to drive my car to beaches and sat down there for a while.
That was good trips to get refresh, but real problems still reminded to me until I was faced with my situation in honest.
"Honesty is the best policy." That's what I am thinking right now again.
