homework

Hi everybody!
Do these three expressions exist? Homework (task to do at home) Practical task (to do in class) and classroom exercise? Do you call a practical task what you have to solve at home too?
Thanks

Top answer

Practical tasks involve "doing things", as opposed to just studying theory. For example, a chemistry experiment would be a practical task, as would making weather observations or making a paper aeroplane. It doesn't matter where you do it.
