Home/at home/in the house

Could you check whether all of (A)~(C) are okay in the following sentence? Thank you.

I'm [ (A) home / (B) at home / (C) in the house ].

Top answer

The first is casual. The second is standard. The third is odd and suggests that you are shouting to someone looking for you in the garden.

Then, how about (A)~(C) in each following sentence?

1. When I arrived [ (A) home / (B) at home / at the house ], there was a letter waiting for me.
2. On my way [ (A) home / (B) to home / to the house ], I stopped by the supermarket.

2B is not possible. The rest are OK and as explained above.
