Home/ at home

Hi!

I would like to know about the difference between home and at home.

Q1
If I pick up a cell phone and the other person ask me
"Can I talk to you now?"
would it be correct to say
"Yes, but I'm not at home, so I can't see the file you had sent me."

Q2
Can I also say "I'm not home" instead of "I'm not at home"?

I thought "at home" was the correct one but there is a song called "I won't be home for Christmas".
I can tell "I won't be at home for Christmas" doesn't sound right but I can't explain why.
Then I thought "at home" might implicate "at the moment".
But I think I can say "I work at home" in a more general sense.

I'm confused...

Q4
Can I say "I work from home" in a SOHO situation?

Thank you!

Thank you very much!

Q4
By "SOHO situation" I wanted to say "at home office" (without going to the company office).
For meaning not only today but permanently,
"I work at home"
"I work home"
"I work from home"
Are they all correct?

The middle one is not correct.
