Holder of agreement

Hallo,

does the expression "holder of this agreement" sound ok?

Thank you!

Top answer

Hi, No, it doesn't. An agreement requires at least two people. They don't 'hold' the agreement.

Party is not really what is ment here because the person ment is somebody who has received this agreement after partipacion in a tender.

Hi,

If there was a tender, pehaps you mean a contract rather than an agreement?

Could also be a contract, does it make any difference? I thought these two terms are similar in their meaning and use.

Hi,
A contract is more legal in nature.
What kind of agreement are you talking about?

it's a service agreement: water management etc.

Hi,

Well, like I said, it's not natural to say that someone holds an agreement.
