Are these sentences natural? Any suggestions are welcome.

[Directions from a photographer to a model who is posing holding a tree.]

Hold the tree a little lower.
Hold the tree a little higher.
Hold the tree a little high up.
Hold the tree further down.
Hold the tree further up.

However. none of those tell us whether (1) the tree is merely raised/lowered or (2) the hand position on the tree trunk is shifted up/down.
