Can I use 'hold on to sn/sth' in these sentences? 1) No, you can't do that. With the baby coming and the wedding, you really need to hold on to your job. 2) He is not going to change; he will always hold on to his old habits. 3) Getting that job feels like holding on to the chair of a falling airplane.
