Hold a grudge

A: Please forgive me for what I have done to you.

B: That's ok. I'm not one to hold a grudge.

Hello Native Speakers, are "I'm not one to hold a grudge" and "I'm not the person who holds a grudge" interchangeable in this context?

Thanks very much in advance
